Beach Stay – 7N | 8D

Travel time: Approx. 3hrs drive. On arrival you will be welcomed to our island paradise by one of our hand selected Guide. Afterwards you will be escorted to your vehicle and transfer to your hotel. Proceed to Kalpitiya and check into your hotel. Kalpitiya features a marine sanctuary rich in diversity and is home to a wide range of habitats; these include vast sand dune beaches, bar reefs, mangrove swamps, flat coastal plains, salt marshes and saltpans.

Travel time: Approx. 4hrs drive. Optional: - If interested, take part in a thrilling whale watching excursion, a not to be missed activity in Kalpitiya. On your voyage, you may see playful spinner dolphins frolicking in the water, while glimpses of sperm whales and an occasional blue whale are amongst the unforgettable sights one can look forward to. Then get transferred to Trincomalee, which is home to one of the most stunning natural harbors in the world.

During your stay conduct a sightseeing tour of Trincomalee and its architectural sights. You will visit the world-famous Kaneswaran Temple, World War Cemetery, Pillaiyar Kovil, Dutch Fort and Fort Frederick offering glimpses of ancient Sri Lankan culture and heritage. Conduct a Whale Watching excursion, fishing in the sea, Pigeon Island visit and Snorkeling excursion. Also, can enjoy bathing in hot water springs and have some local fruits, sweet meats and traditional delicacies.

Travel time: Approx. 02.30hrs drive. Upon arrival in Passikudah, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the 2 days on leisure enjoying the beautiful sandy beach. Also, Passikudah beach adorned with coconut palms, set up an ideal stretch for swimming, Windsurfing and water skiing. These beaches are also home to a varied number of tropical fishes and exotic coral reefs which makes for a splendid view. The combined beaches of Kalkudah and Passikudah ideal for swimming in their calm waters and clear sea.

Travel time: Approx. 04.30hrs drive. The next leg of your trip will take you to the lush green city of Kandy, the island nation’s cultural capital. This was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic known as the Sri Dalada Maligawa & Witness an iconic, traditional Kandyan dancing and drumming performance, with dancers dressed in cultural clothing.

Travel time: Approx. 03hrs drive. Drive to Negombo and enjoy free time to explore the city and check out the beautiful Portuguese and Dutch architecture.

Travel time: Approx. 30mints drive. As all good things must come to an end, we bid you farewell as our Chauffeur Guide transfers you to the Airport to meet your departure flight to home.
