DAY 1: (Airport – Mirissa)
Travel time: Approx. 3hrs drive.
On arrival you will be welcomed to our island paradise by one of our hand selected Guide.
Afterwards you will be escorted to your vehicle and transfer to your hotel.
Proceed to Mirissa and check into your hotel. Relax yourself in the beach by having some Wine and
seafoods together with some beach activities such as diving, Sunbathe etc.

DAY 2: (Mirissa)
Take your packed breakfast and reach Mirissa port by 6.00 for whale watching & dolphin watching.
After that explore the Mirissa port city, Coconut tree spot and fishing village continue your trip to
Unawatuna where the famous jungle beach is located.
Head back to the hotel and relax on the beach or take a surfing lesson.

DAY 3: (Mirissa)
Today head to Galle Fort, the fortified city of with plenty of Portuguese and Dutch colonial charm,
narrow laneways and stunning promenades. Galle Fort is a wanderer's paradise, and you’ll spend
some time exploring it on foot and taking in structures that date from between the 16th and 19th
century. With plenty of eclectic cafes and bars, Galle Fort is also the perfect place to grab a Sri
Lankan meal with a contemporary twist.

DAY 4 & 5: (Mirissa - Yala)
Travel time: Approx. 03.30hrs drive.
After a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Yala National Park, famed for
having the highest leopard density in the world, after breakfast. Depending on your arrival time you
may have an opportunity for a game drive this evening.
Next day, enjoy two exciting jeep safaris in Yala National Park, one in the morning and the other in
the evening. See some of Sri Lanka’s incredible wildlife in their natural habitat.
Yala National Park has the highest density of leopards anywhere in the world and is host to a
variety of other wildlife including elephants, water buffalos, sloth bears, spotted deer, sambar deer,
monkeys, crocodiles, wild boars and an abundance of exotic bird species.

DAY 6: (Yala - Udawalawe)
Travel time: Approx. 02hrs drive.
In the Morning travelling to Udawalawe, when you arrive at your lodging, you can relax or opt to
visit the Elephant Transit Home. It’s a special temporary home for orphaned elephant calves where
they are taken care of until they are independent and able enough to be released back to the wild.
The transit home has been recognized as one of best wild animal rehabilitation centers in the
world. Situated on the western border of Udawalawe National Park, the elephants have no
boundaries in the area and have freedom to roam wherever they want, and wild elephants also visit
the transit home.

DAY 7: (Udawalawe - Colombo)
Travel time: Approx. 04.30hrs drive.
Today jump into your jeeps for the safari tour of Udawalawe National Park – it’s the most reliable
place to see elephants in their wild habitat year-round. There’re some 400-500 elephants living in
the park and herds of up to 50 are commonly seen! You will also be on safari to seek the other park
inhabitants; toque monkeys, grey langur, spotted deer, wild pig, sambar, eagles and more. Leopards
live in the park (though you will be lucky to spot one, but it does happen).
After safari, head out for Colombo. Along the way, stop for a scenic cruise along the Madhu River.
This cruise is the chance to see life along the river; pass dozens of islets forested with mangroves,
feel the calm pace of rural life, pass by a 200-year-old temple, and watch the locals cultivating
cinnamon. Make a stop at the Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda – a conversation Centre protecting sea
turtle eggs and treating injured turtles.
At the end of the day, check in to your hotel in Colombo.
